portable toilets launch the start of school production urinetown

08 Mar 2010

Yes, it’s not exactly Romeo and Juliet or Sweeney Todd, but a innovative high school production have used a bunch of portable toilets to launch their production of ‘Urinetown’. The unlikely school musical proved to be a hit as the nine portable toilets were lined up to spell the name of the play at Central Dauphin East High School in Pennsylvania. The play is about a dystopian world where the water is scared and toilets use is monitored and contolled by a private corporation. In my day, it was all Joseph’s Technicoloured Dreamcoat and mums stitching your outfits together, school plays have come a long way!
